4 November 2010, Milan – CEMATEX owner of ITMA, the world’s largest textile machinery show has announced that Italy will host the 17th edition of ITMA at the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre in Milan, from 12 to 19 November 2015. Fiera Milano won the international bid organised by CEMATEX, the owner of the ITMA show, after beating three other short-listed bidders from an original list of 12.

Mumbai – According to a recent Assocham study, India’s technical textiles industry is set to boom in the next five years. The sector is said to be ready to double from its estimated current value of US $10 billion today.

Germany’s VDMA Textile Machinery Association has reported a 130% increase in orders in the first quarter 2010 for German textile machinery builders compared to the first quarter of last year. The association predicts an overall increase in sales of 30-35% in 2010, compared with 2009.

Messe Frankfurt announces the launch of Texprocess Americas in cooperation with SPESA (Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas), April 24 – 26, 2012 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Messe Frankfurt USA and SPESA have concluded agreements to cooperate, co-produce and launch Texprocess Americas in Atlanta in 2012.

The seventh edition of North America’s only dedicated show for technical textiles and nonwovens will be held May 18-20, 2010 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
